The Skills Canada Career explorer is an interactive map meant to centralize information about educational institutions across the country. The primary goal is to help encourage and support the choice of a skilled career in trades and technologies to youth and their communities. The map allows users to filter educational institutions across the country by desired salary, skill area, or sector to find a suitable option to kick start their career.

Instructions
This map can be used as part of the overall exploration of the variety of skilled trades in Canada and can be found on the Skills Compétences Canada Website . Educators can direct learners and families to the site to learn more about career possibilities within the trades and then follow up with the exploration of training institutions. The map serves as only one part of the overall site where learners will find extensive information about programs, initiatives, careers, partnerships, resources, events, and competitions involving the skilled trades.
This is a helpful resource for trades classes and/or Essential Skills classes.
