Administrators

Overview of Role

The School Administrator is ultimately responsible for creating systems and structures to support the work of the school staff along side  the District Transition Coach. As the champion responsible for supporting staff engagement, you will establish the school itinerary, set a Hopeful Transitions goal(s), and shepherd the actions needed for success.

How does a school get started with Hopeful Transitions?

To begin, you will create a Hopeful Transitions school plan that considers key points to ground you and keep everyone on track. You can download a School Planning Guide here.

To support Hopeful Transitions, schools need to first complete a self-assessment to affirm their strengths and determine areas for growth. The school will use the Hopeful Transitions Benchmarks Assessment benchmarks to self-assess. Each school will select the appropriate benchmark(s) to best meet the needs of their learners and school context.
