Overview
A monthly workshop on the Career Life Plan graduation requirement is being offered during the 2025-26 school year. Workshop #7 provides an overview on “Engage in a student led conference of the completed Career Life Plan”.

Objectives
- Explore strategies for implementing student-led conferences and final interviews as part of the Career Life Plan (CLP)
- Identify practical ways to support students in reflecting on and presenting their learning
- Build confidence in guiding students through meaningful conversations about their future pathways
Instructions
- Review the structure and purpose of student-led conferences within the CLP process
- Prepare students in advance using guiding questions and reflection activities
- Support students in organizing and presenting their portfolio work
- Focus on student growth and learning rather than perfection
- Use final interviews to assess readiness, clarify next steps, and provide feedback
- Collaborate with school counsellors, homeroom, and advisory teachers to ensure flexibility and shared responsibility
