Overview
This getting started Pre-Recorded Workshop Guide is a resource that accompanies 4 pre-recorded videos to support the learners and educators using Education Planner. The 3 mini-lesson / workshops are as follows:
- Workshop #1: Who Am I Surveys
- Workshop #2: Occupation and Search Portfolios
- Workshop #3: High School Plan and Goal Setting
Education Planner will help students answer the following 4 questions:
- Who am I?
- What are my opportunities?
- Who do I want to become?
- What is my plan for achieving my goals?
Through the myBlueprint Learner Workshop Series Pre-Recorded Videos, learners will have the power to explore apprenticeships, post-secondary programs, occupations, and more!
myBlueprint Workshop Guide Pre-Recorded Videos
Objectives
- To support learners in a process of self-reflection to identify their passions, preferences, learning styles, opportunities, goals for career connected learning.
- To familiarize educators with various aspects of the myBlueprint resource.
Instructions
This resource includes step-by-step instructions for educators to assist them in supporting their learners to use the tools in the myBlueprint Education Planner. There is a checklist to help prepare for and deliver the myBlueprint Learner Workshop Series pre-recorded videos. The checklist is divided in 3 parts:
- Before showing the workshop videos
- During the workshops
- After the workshops
Each workshop is accompanied with a series of reflection questions to guide the educator to support the learners.
