Instructions

There are several practical uses and audiences for this resource. The educator could distribute this to the learner at the beginning of the semester to keep as a checklist to self-monitor progress and as a reminder of what still needs to consideration or updating. The educator could review the progress and self-reflections with the learner in their myBlueprint portfolio periodically at selected times during the semester. The checklist could also serve as a discussion point for student-led conferencing.

The resource could also be shared with the learner’s family to support home/school communication and progress with hopeful transition pathway planning.

Finally, the guide supports the educator as a planning tool to take advantage of relevant career-connected learning opportunities by aligning their subject-specific lesson content and learning outcomes to engage the learner in Career Life Plan planning.
