myBlueprint Workshop Series

Overview

The myBlueprint Workshop Series provides three one-hour sessions for educators and learners with time to actively engage in career and life planning. When high schools choose to engage in the Workshop Series, they identify a host who will deliver three separate one-hour virtual workshops streamed directly to learners and educators together.

Objectives

Educators and learners are able to learn how to use myBlueprint together.

The three workshops include:

Workshop #1 – Who Am I Surveys

Workshop #2 – Occupation Search and Career Life Plan Digital Portfolios

*Career Life Plan documents below.

Workshop #3 – High School Course Plan

Instructions

  1. Educators begin by viewing the short workshop primer video recording.
  2. Choose from the two options for facilitation:
    1. Someone will be live hosting each workshop by facilitating the provided presentations virtually streamed to each classroom.
    2. Individual educators will facilitate by using the pre-recorded Workshop guide and videos.
  3. Use the provided resources to conduct the three workshops – power points, pre-recorded videos, emails, family letters, educator guide, student guide, Career Life Plan checklists, etc.
  4. Schedule across three dates when the workshops will be conducted. Tip – it is best when they are scheduled a week apart.
